PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder on which an operator and a general user operating a printer can reflect his/her intention. SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder is provided with: a determining means to determine whether page recording operation shall be suspended by determining a threshold for a size of a recording image, and also by determining a threshold for the number of recording pixels; an inputting means for making a user set a threshold for determining a threshold for the size of the recording image; and data thinning masks having different thinning rates as thinning masks for a multipath recording method. The recorder compares a threshold prepared in advance as a threshold for the size of the recording image with a threshold set by a user, and when the threshold the user has set is smaller, a determining condition on the number of the recording pixels is ignored, while when the threshold the user has set is larger, the image is formed by using a thinning mask making an image density thin as a thinning mask for making multipath recording to act on through the whole page recording.
