The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a building element, comprising the steps of: i) arranging a finishing layer in a mould provided with a predetermined inner surface; ii) distributing the finishing layer uniformly over the inner surface of the mould; and iii) arranging foaming material inside the finishing layer for the purpose of forming a foam core.
