<p>An information management system includes a coordinate acquisition device for specifying a position on a sheet of paper and a content server for storing document data. The document data includes original document data and abstract document data containing the same content as the original document data. The original document data has a first coordinate system and a content. The abstract document data has a second coordinate system, link information to the original document data, and coordinate information on an area given to the original document data. When the coordinate acquisition device specifies a position on the abstract document, a content server converts the coordinates of the specified position on the second coordinate system into coordinates of the first coordinate system.</p>
