<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the total number of parts of a LED light source without effecting the quality of the light source, and to reduce cost. <P>SOLUTION: The LED light source 10 has a casing 12 provided with a hollow core 14 that is projected from the casing 12. The opening edge 19 of the casing 12 is closed by a printed circuit board 18 that has a LED 20 formed thereon. A light guide 22 is arranged in the hollow core 14. The second edge 26 of the light guide 22 projected from the hollow core 14 has a first reflector 28 mounted thereon. The heat conductive casing 12 for forming an integral type heat sink has an extending portion. The casing 12 has an extending body 50 provided with a heat radiation fin 52.
