<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device for an outboard motor, capable of reducing the size of the outboard motor. <P>SOLUTION: In this fuel supply device 23 for the outboard motor, fuel piping in which a fuel pump, a fuel injector and a pressure regulator are connected in series with each other is provided inside the outboard motor, and the fuel piping is connected with a fuel tank 40 arranged outside the outboard motor by fuel hoses 44, 50. On the front face of an engine cover covering an engine of the outboard motor, a fuel supply connector 54 on the outboard motor side and a fuel return connector 55 on the outboard motor side are juxtaposed in right and left sides. The fuel supply connector 54 on the outboard motor side and the fuel return connector 55 on the outboard motor side are connected with the upstream side of the fuel pump and the downstream side of the pressure regulator, respectively. On the upper face of the fuel tank 40, a fuel supply connector 52 on the tank side and a fuel return connector 52 on the tank side are juxtaposed. The fuel supply connector 54 on the outboard motor side is connected with the fuel supply connector 52 on the tank side by the external fuel supply hose 44, and the fuel return connector 55 on the outboard motor side is connected with the fuel return connector 53 on the tank side by the external fuel return hose 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
