<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication method and system and a method for measuring a distance between an access point and a client. <P>SOLUTION: In a communication method on the radio communication system having an access point for transmitting radio communication data and at least one client, the access point includes: (a) a step for transmitting many packets by another transmission output; (b) a step for receiving a response of the client for one of the packets transmitted and (c) a step for transmitting data by the transmission output that the client can receive according to the response of the client. A radio wave can be efficiently used by making an assignment of the transmission bandwidth depending on the distance change between the access point and the client. Further, a high transmission rate can be guaranteed by making an assignment of a broader transmission bandwidth to the client located nearby and an efficient energy consumption of the client is attained by reducing the transmission power of the radio wave transmitted to the client located nearby. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
