<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce broadband noise including a low frequency band in a compact muffling duct of electronic equipment or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The noise generated by blowers 6, 16 escapes inside the equipment through sound transmission walls 3. 4, 13 and 14 when passing through the inside of an air course and becomes hard to get at an intake port 17 and an exhaust port, by constituting a part or the whole of the air course in an exhaust side muffling duct 1 and an intake side muffling duct 2 of the sound transmission walls 3, 4, 13 and 14. That is, the noise emitted from the intake port 17 and the exhaust port 7 can be reduced. Moreover, the sound reflected inside the intake side muffling duct 2 or the exhaust side muffling duct 1 from the intake port 17 or the exhaust port 7 transmits inside the equipment through the sound transmission walls 3, 4, 13 and 14 and indistinct sound confined within the sir course or resonance therein disappears remarkablly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
