<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an image recorder 1 with a liquid crystal panel display part 34 and slots 50-52 for recording media become a compact form. <P>SOLUTION: An upside body 3 is fixed at a pivotal part 4 to be rotary openable to one side part of a downside body 2. The liquid crystal panel display part 34 is set in the vicinity of a side edge part near the front face of the downside body 2 in the upper face of the downside body 2. An opening 36 like a notch is formed in the upside body 3 so that a display face of the liquid crystal panel display part 34 can be seen when the upside body 3 is closed to the upper face of the downside body 2. The slots 50-52 for the recording media of a plurality of kinds are formed opening nearly horizontally at a part between the liquid crystal panel display part 34 and the pivotal part 4 in the front face of the downside body 2.
