PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program thereof capable of carrying out limitations of an inhibited area or a inhibited camera or the like in response to the attribute of a user without losing the convenience when a camera server executes a video distribution service.

SOLUTION: A camera control server 501 controls an imaging range in an imaging apparatus 14 in response to an instruction from a viewer 102 for requesting the distribution of a video image and stores imaging limit information or defining a limited area for placing a limit on imaging within an imageable range to be an imaging range in response to the attribute of the user of the viewer 102. A video server 502 can control whether or not confidential communication is to be employed for communication with the viewer 102, and makes the confidential communication with the viewer 102 when discriminating that the imaging range after the control by the camera control server 501 includes the limited area.
