<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article search system and an article search method for simply searching for an article by using an IC tag search device with a label or tape previously stuck on the article such as a document, with an IC tag embedded in the label or tape. <P>SOLUTION: This article search system comprises: a body device 12 equipped with an article information input device 11, a stuck body holder 121, an ID reader 122, and a printer 123 for printing article information on an adhesive label or tape; a search information storage 13 for storing therein ID and the article information associated therewith as search information; and an IC tag search device 14 equipped with a search circuit for radio-searching for an IC tag T by means of an IC tag search antenna. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
