<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning unit 8 for laser beam machining or the like with which residual dross by the laser beam machining is sufficiently removed regardless of whether a surface to be machined by the laser beam is the upside or the downside, cleaning roller changing is not required over a long term and also the improvement of productivity is attained. <P>SOLUTION: Cylindrical cleaning rollers 6 made of a urethan resin which are formed by open cell foaming are arranged on a surface of a flexible substrate 1 to which the laser beam machining is applied and the opposite surface in the cleaning unit 8 for the laser beam machining. Both the cleaning rollers 6 press the flexible substrate 1 to the degree that the rollers are slightly deformed and are respectively connected to a driving motor 12. The residual dross 40 by machining stuck to the flexible substrate 1 is continuously removed by rubbing the flexible substrate 1 by using both the cleaning rollers 6. The residual dross 40 by machining is continuously discharged through many holes 18 made on the surface of a rotary shaft 6a with a suction device 10 by connecting one end of the rotary shaft 6a to the suction device 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
