PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of operating in any state. SOLUTION: The image processing system is so structured that an image processing section and a primary body section can be separated and has a joining means for the image processing section and primary body section, and the joining means is equipped with a transfer means for fine data outputted from a fine data output means of the image processing section, a file transfer means of inputting and outputting respective image file data of the image processing section and primary body section, and a control command transfer means of inputting and outputting control data that the image processing section and primary body section use for their control. The image processing system is equipped with a function verifying means of determining whether the fine data output means, file transfer means, and control command transfer means effectively function.
