PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save troubles for user and to prevent loss of chance for placing a telephone call, by automatically determining the optimum termination destination by a communications system, capable of freely changing termination destinations of a fixed telephone and a mobile phone, using presence information on the house of the person called. SOLUTION: A lock state system which manages the lock state of a lock is installed in the house, and the lock state of the lock is transferred to a presence server. The presence server selects a communication terminal as a proper call termination destination, according to a termination decision table holding the relation between the transferred lock state and call termination-destination terminal, and reports it to an exchange control system.
