PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reproducing apparatus capable of positively determining whether images based on a plurality of image data are still images or motion images when the images are each displayed in a list. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with an image processing unit 17 for reading the plurality of image data stored in a memory card 4 and displaying each image based on each image data within each of a plurality of segments of a display unit 20. The unit 17 executes, as a list display processing, motion display processing in which when the images are motion images, a plurality of extracted images extracted as still images from the motion images are displayed within one segment while moving the a display position.
