PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a figure zone-existence detection system using a radio wave for achieving simple configurations without using any transmitter, and for widely detecting an indoor space, and for detecting the existence of a figure with high precision. SOLUTION: This figure existence detection system is configured to use a radio wave transmitted from a radio system offering a service with a fixed transmission power such as a TV broadcasting wave as a transmission source, and to receive a radio wave with a VHF band or a UHF band where a multi-pass environment is more easily generated than a micro-wave band. Thus, it is possible to achieve highly precise figure behavior detection for detecting the reception level fluctuating width of the radio wave all the time by using a principle that the reception level of the radio wave fluctuates in accordance with the change of an indoor multi-pass environment due to the movement of the figure, and using an antenna which easily receives a plurality of radio waves whose arrival directions are different.
