PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rim which can improve the lens retention in a simple configuration and enhance new ornamentation to eyeglasses. SOLUTION: In the rim 1 of the eyeglasses has a groove 3 for holding lenes, by fitting to the ridge 5a extending from the side of the lens 5 another groove 4 is formed at the bottom of the groove 3, along the top 5b of the ridge 5a.
