PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device capable of reducing reaction force by a flexible printed board connecting a movable part and a fixing part, and capable of reducing the space required in laying the flexible printed board. SOLUTION: The optical device is provided with the movable member for holding a lens group, a fixing member for supporting the movable part to be movable in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis, and the flexible printed board for electrically connecting the movable member and the fixing member. The flexible printed board includes first parts (29b, 29e, and 29c) fixed to the fixing member, a second part (29e) extended in the direction of the optical axis from the first parts toward the movable part, and third parts (29aP and 29aY) branching at the second part, laid to the opposite directions each other around the optical axis, and fixed at approximately facing positions across the optical axis of the movable part.
