PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric transfer apparatus wherein a dielectric can be received sufficient force for transfer from an initial period of transfer without necessitating narrowing the space between adjacent electrodes and without necessitating applying high voltage. SOLUTION: A plurality of first electrodes 11a, b, ... and a plurality of second electrodes 12a, b, ... having the same shape are arranged at an arrangement space dh in a flat face direction, the arrangement of the first electrodes and the arrangement of the second electrodes are made to face to each other at a facing interval dv and disposed to be parallel to each other while positions thereof are made to deviate from each other by a half pitch in the electrode arrangement direction, and the dielectric 13 which is made freely transferable in the electrode arrangement direction is interposed in the facing space dv between the first and the second electrodes. Force of transfer due to an electric field is directly given to the dielectric 13 from the initial period of transfer by applying voltage different from that of the other electrode mutually to the first electrodes 11a, b, ... and the second electrodes 12a, b, ... opposed to each other while shifting the positions of the electrodes sequentially from the position of the dielectric 13 in the transfer direction by a half pitch.
