PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material which ensures little failure due to temperature in exposure and excels in pressure resistance, and a method for manufacturing the silver halide photographic sensitive material. SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material has on a support at least one silver halide emulsion layer and at least one non-photosensitive layer, contains a silver halide emulsion sensitized with two or more sensitizing dyes selected from the compounds represented by formula (1) in the silver halide emulsion layer, and further contains a compound represented by the formula (2): CH<SB>2</SB>=CHSO<SB>2</SB>-R<SB>1</SB>-SO<SB>2</SB>CH=CH<SB>2</SB>.
