PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel in which the accurate drive and position detection of an optical member are ensured and downsizing is achieved. SOLUTION: The lens barrel 100 comprises: a lens barrel frame 1; a photographic lens, not shown, disposed within the lens barrel frame 1 and used so as to image photographing light onto an imaging element; a lens holder 2 holding the photographic lens; an anti-vibration bar 3 freely slidably engaged with the groove 2c of the top of the lens holder 2 so as to prevent inclination of the lens holder 2; a piezoelectric transducer 4 disposed between the lens frame 1 and the lens holder 2 and having an electrostrictive effect type piezoelectric element that generates ultrasonic vibration in order to move the lens holder 2 forward or backward along the optical axis direction A of the photographic lens; a position detecting substrate 5 for detecting the position of the lens holder 2; and an elastic pressing member 6 that presses the position detecting substrate 5 to the piezoelectric transducer 4 in order to bring the lens holder 2 into firm contact with the piezoelectric transducer 4.
