PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jar pot with high energy saving effects and with significantly reduced heat leakage from the inside of a container of the pot. SOLUTION: The jar pot comprises the bottomed container 1 for storing a stored liquid 2 such as water, an electric heater for heating and/or heat-insulating the stored liquid 2, a lid 4 for covering an upper opening of the container 1, a lid heat-insulating material 5 built in the lid 4, and a cylindrical body heat-insulating material 3 located on the outer surface of the container 1. The upper end 3a of the body heat-insulating material 3 is disposed higher than a closing part 7 of the container 1.
