PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip for a hair measure which is brought into contact with a scalp to reduce a burden on the scalp and can hold the hair perpendicularly to the scalp. SOLUTION: The hair clip 1 is so constituted that left and right clip bodies 2 and 3 of which the proximal end sections are formed as grip sections 4 and 5 and the distal end sections are formed as holding pieces 6 and 7 and a projection piece 8 are superposed to be pivoted and reinforced by a spring 10, wherein the projection piece 8 to extend in a direction of the scalp of the left and right holding pieces 6 and 7 is disposed so that a necessary known distance between the scalp and the holding pieces can be set.
