A roller bearing device where lubrication performance is enhanced to prevent seizure and to reduce frictional torque in rotation. The roller bearing device has an inner ring (1), an outer ring (2), and rollers (3) rollably arranged between the inner and outer rings. A flange (4) in contact with a large end face (7) of each roller (3) and guiding the rolling of the rollers (3) is formed on the inner ring (1). A recess (5) is formed at the center of the large end face (7) of each roller (3). A plug member (6) for preventing oil penetration is embedded in the recess (5) of the roller (3).
