<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge-carbonized product, a gas treatment apparatus using the sludge-carbonized product, and a method and an apparatus for producing the sludge-carbonized product in which nitrogen oxide and sulfur oxide can be simultaneously removed at an ordinary temperature at a low cost from a gas to be treated containing nitrogen oxide and sulfur oxide. <P>SOLUTION: A sludge-carbonized product D comprising an inorganic component in an amount of 50-75% and a remaining part composed of volatiles and a fixed carbon is brought into contact with a gas to be treated containing nitrogen oxide and sulfur oxide in a temperature atmosphere of 100°C or lower to remove both nitrogen oxide and sulfur oxide from the gas to be treated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
