<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen generation apparatus which enables quick start-up, high efficiency and stable operation, and to provide a fuel cell-power generation system using the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen generation apparatus is provided with: a reforming section for generating a reformed gas containing at least hydrogen and carbon monoxide by reacting a raw material containing organic compounds with water; a conversion section having a conversion catalyst for lowering carbon monoxide content in the reformed gas by a shift reaction; a catalyst-temperature detection section comprising at least one temperature detection means arranged in the conversion section; and a control section for sequentially comparing the detected temperature from the temperature detection means with at least one target temperature increasing stepwise at start-up, and for increasing the flow of the raw material to the upper limit flow value defined in each target temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
