PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of making a dialing operation of a telephone set by using a telephone number or the like displayed on the screen image of an application performed by a terminal such as a PC.

SOLUTION: A dialing request unit including: a means for performing the application; a display means for displaying the screen image generated by the application; and an operation means for an operator to make operations is provided with: a character string acquisition means for acquiring a character string selected on the screen image of the application displayed on the display means by the operation means; and a call origination request means for applying a call origination request to the telephone set by transmitting the character string acquired by the character string acquisition means to the telephone set connected to the dialing request device.
