<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost water draining plug easy to install, difficult to fall off, and free of counterflow etc. of the flushing water during washing a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The water draining plug is composed of a cylindrical portion 1 having internally a cavity 11 in the form of down pipe, a plurality of engaging pawls 2 installed on the periphery of the cylindrical portion 1 in such a way as able to make elastic deformation, a cup-shaped water sump 3 installed continuously to the part under the cylindrical portion 1 coaxially with its axis and having internally a space formed continuously to the cavity 11, a draining passage 6 formed in a ring shape on the outside of the outside circumferential wall 31 of the cup-shaped water sump 3 in such a way that part thereof is in communication with the water sump 3, and a cover 5 installed on the periphery of the passage 6 in such a way as covering it 6 and having a fin-shaped flange 55 capable of making elastic deformation installed on the side confronting the tips 21 of the pawls 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
