<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly productive method for manufacturing an eye joint ferrule that can be firmly assembled. <P>SOLUTION: A sleeve body 20 is formed such that a hole 45 with a stepped part 49 on the inner face and a spherical part 48 are formed by cold-forging a bar-like material 40 in the axial direction, and also, a neck part 22 is formed by caulking or rolling a part adjacent to the spherical part. Next, the spherical part is formed into a disc-like part by pressing, and then, formed into an annular part 23 by boring. After that, a flange-like joining part of a separately-molded nipple body is fixed integrally with a nipple abutting face 25 of the sleeve body 20 by abutting it against the nipple abutting face 25. The nipple and the flange-like joining part are formed by cold-forging the bar-like material in the axial direction in the nipple body. Then, a protrusion is protruded at the end edge part of the flange-like joining part by pressing.
