PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a user must manually rotate one of housings depending on a usage mode, in a portable communication terminal in which a first housing is coupled to a second housing so that the housings may be rotated with two axes. SOLUTION: When the user operates a first operation button 7, a second operation button 8 or a third operation button 9, a control unit 20 drives a rotating motor 3 and an opening/closing motor 4 so that the housings may change in an opening state, a front surface display state or a display means concealing state, depending on the operation of the user and results of detection of a front surface display state detecting unit 11 for detecting whether or not the terminal is in the front surface display state and a closed state detecting unit 12 for detecting whether or not the terminal is in the display means concealing state.
