PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart the function of placing an article on a lid without slipping off in such a manner that the lid of a pot is formed into a flat surface shape, a bank-like protrusion is provided over the total periphery of the lid in a vicinity of the periphery, and a handle is attached to the peripheral section of the lid. SOLUTION: The bank-like protrusion (14) is provided in a vicinity of the periphery of the lid (11) of the pot, and the handle (12) is attached to the peripheral section (13) of the lid.
