<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a votive light apparatus which can be automatically lit on when a votive light charge is dedicated, automatically lit off when a prescribed time is elapsed, and, further, has no danger of a fire. <P>SOLUTION: This votive light apparatus comprises a light emitting part imitating a candle, a sensor switch equipped with a slot for dedication of money such as coins, etc. to turn the light emitting part on when receiving money, and a power source to supply power to the parts.
