摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve lighting effect in a lighting fixture using a fluorescent lamp of almost square annular shape.

SOLUTION: The fluorescent lamp 10 of almost square annular shape having a straight tube part 22 and a corner tube part 23 is used. The lighting fixture 1 has a reflector 42 covering the lower side of the apparatus main body 41. The arc tube 21 of the fluorescent lamp 10 is optically opposed to a reflecting part 63 of nearly octagonal pyramid shape of the reflector 42. The straight tube part 22 of the arc tube 21 is optically opposed to the main reflecting part 64 of the reflector 42 and the corner tube part 23 of the arc tube 21 is opposed to a corner reflecting part 65 of the reflector 42. The light irradiated by the straight tube part 22 of the arc tube 21 is reflected by the main reflecting part 64 and goes to all sides. The light irradiated by the corner tube part 23 of the arc tube 21 is reflected by the corner reflecting part 65 and goes in the direction of four corners. The distance between the corner tube part 23 and the corner reflecting part 65 is established larger than that between the straight tube part 22 and the main reflecting part 64.
