PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave suppressing paper which may be manufactured with the processes similar to that of an ordinary paper, is thin and light weight as can be inserted into a clearance of an electronic component, and also assures, in spite of it, the electromagnetic wave suppressing effect (electromagnetic wave shielding effect) higher than the predetermined degree. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave suppressing paper includes, on the front surface of a basic material of paper, a conductive painting layer mainly including a metal filler, polyester system co-polymer material of ultra-high molecules, and is 0.3 mm or less in its total thickness.
