PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL apparatus comprising an organic EL element where a plurality of functional layers are formed in the uniform shape and thickness to assure uniform brightness and color of emitted light and have uniform light emitting characteristics. SOLUTION: The organic EL apparatus comprises a pixel electrode 141, a common electrode 154, and a light emitter 140 held between these electrodes. The light emitter 140 includes a laminated layer film formed by laminating a hole implantation layer (first functioning layer) 140A, and a light emitting layer (second functioning layer) 140B.
