PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifying device having excellent humidifying efficiency, and capable of maintaining the humidifying efficiency for a long period. SOLUTION: This humidifying device 1 is rotatably provided with a disk-like filter case 7 storing a breathable water-retentive material 8 inside it in a ventilation passage from an air suction port 2a to a blowoff port 4e inside a casing 2 disposed with the air suction port and the blowoff port apart from each other above a water storage tank provided in a bottom part while sequentially immersing a peripheral part of the filter case 7 in storage water. In the filter case 7, ventilation holes 9e, 10f are formed in positions corresponding to the water-retentive material 8 on both side faces, a cross-sectionally recessed shape groove part 11 is formed over the whole periphery of the peripheral face, blades 10d scooping up the storage water are provided inside the groove part 11 at prescribed intervals in a circumferential direction, and water passage holes 10e communicating with the water-retentive material 8 are respectively formed in the bottom face of the groove part 11 in respective spaces between the blades 10d.
