PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating drum type drier of multiple constitution capable of performing drying of high efficiency without attaching a dried object such as sludge to a barrel body. SOLUTION: The dried object charged from a charging port is moved in the rotational axial direction with rotation by the drum-shaped barrel body. The barrel body 2 is rotated by a rotating driving device, the barrel body 2 has a double structure of an outer barrel body 16 and an inner barrel body 17, and hot air is supplied into the barrel body 2 from a hot air supply member. The outer barrel body 16 and the inner barrel body 17 respectively have blades 19, 20. The dried object is mixed with media 24, and moved in a barrel body space of the double structure while receiving the hot air and exchanging heat therewith. A material is discharged to the outside of the barrel body 2 from a discharge opening 15 at a terminal end of a drying pathway, and the media 24 are returned to the inner barrel body 17 to be circulated. The material is rubbed against the media 24 or the blades 19, 20, thus the material is prevented from being stuck to the barrel body 2 or the like. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
