PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for an integrated belt tensioning device. SOLUTION: One exemplary device includes pulleys 161 and 162, a biasing member, and an indicator 164. The biasing member (e.g., a spring or the like) is adapted to bias the pulley to a biased position. The indicator is associated with the position of the pulley and varies according to the relative position of the pulley to the biased position. Tension from a belt 158 acting on the pulley displaces the pulley away from the biased position, against the biasing force. The indicator varies according to the relative position of the pulley from the biased position and may thereby be correlated to tension in the belt.
