The present invention relates to a method for sharing and transferring data between different web browser frames ( 1, 2 ) which are served from different domains. This makes it possible to outsource services that would not be possible otherwise, owning to security limitations imposed by the web browser ( 101 ). The interaction between frames ( 1, 2 ) allows for the development of various services and products, like chat tools, customized floating toolbars, navigation inside a frame, advertising and many others.
