The vane pump includes a rotor (1), a displacement ring (2) and a number of vanes (3). Each vane moves along in a slot (4) in the rotor. The famous and the displacement ring are at least partly magnetic, and are placed against each other magnetically, so that they are mutually attracted. There may be a magnet (6) in each slot.
