<p>The anti-pollution device (10) for exhaust gases from a combustion engine comprises: an exhaust chamber (16) for circulation of the exhaust gas, said chamber (16) having an inlet (44) for the introduction of the exhaust gas and an outlet for removal of the exhaust gas and a gas treatment body (18) housed in the chamber (16) between the inlet (14) and the outlet. Said chamber has a moving deflector (40) arranged above the upstream face (18A) of the gas treatment body (18). Said deflector (40) may be moved between an active position in which at least a part of the gas flow is diverted towards a normally cooler region of the upstream face of the particle filter, increasing the gas flow in said region to the detriment of a normally hotter region of the upstream face of the gas treatment body (18) and a retracted position in which the gas flow is permitted to flow across the normally hotter region of the upstream face of the gas treatment body (18) without being at least partly turned towards the normally cooler region of the upstream face of the particle filter.</p> |
