<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable light emitting apparatus which can avoid lighting failure of the entire light emitting apparatus even when one or more light emitting diodes of all the light emitting diodes have disconnection. <P>SOLUTION: Multiple packages, each of which comprises the same number of light emitting diodes connected in parallel, and one current-limiting resistor are connected in series. In each package comprising multiple light emitting diodes mounted on one substrate and connected in parallel, the forward voltage applied to each light emitting diode is selectively coordinated beforehand.
