WRINKLE FORMATION INHIBITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide external preparation having high effectiveness and obtained by utilizing an extract of Conyza filaginoides, in an external preparation for skin in which wrinkle formation of the skin is inhibited by significantly inhibiting elastase activity and Maillard reaction in skin dermal tissue by an extract extracted from a plant of the specific genus.

SOLUTION: The present inventors found that an extract of Conyza filaginoides significantly inhibits elastase activity and Maillard reaction. As a result, the invention provides external preparation for skin which is effective for inhibiting wrinkle formation of the skin by utilizing the extract.
