<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which can perform operation diagnosis of a micro-controller properly even when it is difficult to prepare a circuit for operation diagnosis outside the micro-controller. <P>SOLUTION: A micro-controller 1 has a built-in circuit which can add pseudo signal to arbitrary bit position of serial received data.
