<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment instrument for an endoscope, which allows an operator to arbitrarily change the direction of a distal end treatment member, which projects from or retracts into the distal end of a sheath, by an extremely simple structure and operation on the hand side. <P>SOLUTION: The treatment instrument for the endoscope has a stopper face 4a facing the front, which is formed near a connection part 4 between an operation wire 3 and the distal end treatment member 2, and a stopper wall 5b which abuts on the stopper face 4a when the stopper face 4a is moved forward and which is inclined to the stopper face 4a. When the stopper face 4a is pressed against the stopper wall 5b by forcing the operation wire 3 forward from the proximal end side, the direction of the distal end treatment member 2 projecting from the distal end of the sheath 1 changes according to the direction of inclination of the stopper wall 5b to the stopper face 4a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
