PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recording medium destructing device capable of confirming the fact that a data recording medium is surely destructed, thereby even a third person efficiently disposes the data recording medium while ensuring confidentiality. SOLUTION: The data recording medium destructing device 1 cuts and destructs the data recording medium by using rotating cutting blades 19. The data recording destructing device 1 is provided with image recording means 34 for recording the data recording medium which is inserted to be dropped and cut by the rotating cutting blades 19 disposed opposite to each other by using a still image or an animation.
