PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving the dimensional accuracy of a product in which even when an inner panel in a single article state is deformed elastically, the effect of the deformation is prevented from appearing in an outer panel with the accuracy of its shape considered important. SOLUTION: When the inner panel 3 is positioned based on a fixed receiving jig, a receiving piece 21 for seating a deformed joined flange part 4 is deformed according to the seating flange part 4 and locked by a locking cylinder 25. When the inner panel 3 and the outer panel 2 are adhered/joined to each other by a presser bar jig 16, the joined flange part 4 is not reformed. Even when the product is taken out after joining, the joined flange part 4 does not generate restoration force based on the deformation, and the lowering of product accuracy based on the restoration force is not brought out.
