PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly reliable enclosed type rotary compressor preventing wear of a vane spring caused by contact with an inner face of a spring hole of a cylinder. SOLUTION: Since an end turn part 12 abutting on the inner face of a closed container 13 of the vane spring 8 is formed so as to correspond to a curvature of the inner face of the closed container 13, this prevents the vane spring 8 from being inclined with respect to the inner face of the closed container 13 and can keep the vane spring 8 with its centerline stably perpendicularly contacted with the inner face of the closed container 13 all the time. As a result, during operation of the compressor, the vane spring 8 can be expanded/contracted without contacting the inner face of the spring hole 11 of the cylinder 2, which prevents wear caused by contact.
