PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a baseboard that clearance can't be seen even if the baseboard is mounted to a wall projecting a column to the inside of a wall surface. SOLUTION: In the baseboard mounted to the wall 3 provided by projecting the front of the column to an indoor side from the wall surface 2, it is so characterized that the baseboard consists of a longer-shaped baseboard body 4 abutted on the front of the column and a longer-shaped baseboard subsidiary member 6 intervening in the clearance between the wall surface 2 and the baseboard body 4 and corresponding to a length between both columns, and the clearance between the wall surface 2 and the baseboard body 4 can't be seen from the outside because the baseboard subsidiary member 6 is made to intervene in the clearance between the wall surface 2 and the baseboard body 4, and at the same time, the baseboard body 4 can be prevented from bending down to the wall side.
