PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass yarn having the uniform number of twists to obtain a woven fabric capable of being easily widened and little having an inner strain, by changing twisting conditions in accordance with the winding diameters of the glass yarn. SOLUTION: This glass yarn-wound article 10 obtained by winding up a twisted glass filament strand 20 on a bobbin 30 is characterized in that the glass yarn has portions where the twist numbers of the glass yarn at positions having large winding diameters are smaller than those at positions having small winding diameters. The method for producing the glass yarn-wound article 10 is characterized by adjusting the ratio of a yarn-feeding speed to the number of revolutions of the spindle 50 of the bobbin 30 in a twisting process.
