PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document cover with a pocket which enables formation of the pocket out of one sheet of the cover itself and which does not need much labor and many components for assembly and facilitates insertion of a document into the pocket. SOLUTION: The lower side of the back 11b of the document cover and the lateral side thereof adjacent to that side are extended and the extended portions 11e and 11d of the two sides are folded back inward in the shape of U. A cut 11h slanting at an angle of 45 degrees to the lower side is formed beforehand in the end part 11e of the lateral side, while an upright engaging piece 11f having a slant edge 11g slanting at an angle of 45 degrees is formed beforehand in the end edge of the end part 11d of the lower side, and the corner part including the engaging piece 11f of the end part 11d of the lower side is fitted in the cut 11h of the end part 11e of the lateral side.
